The house at 135 Prairie St. in Pella (#33) is being constructed by volunteers building on Saturdays and the Pella High Construction Trades class under the direction of Mark Goodrich working during the week, and will soon be finished. To volunteer on this house, please contact Linda Grandia, coordinator of Pella volunteers, at 628-2429, or call the Habitat office at 828-8844. Or you can register at the worksite.
The second house at 705 East Main in Knoxville, (#34) is being constructed by the Knoxville High School Construction Trades classes taught by Jordan Downing and is due to be completed at the end of the school year. There are no volunteer opportunities at this home. If you wish to volunteer in Knoxville, contact the Habitat Office at 828-8844 to volunteer for new houses to be constructed in 2012.
